Known locally as the 'brick beach', this part of the Sefton coastline is scattered with the debris leftover from the Blitz. I've got a friend who used to do up old properties and he used to go down there for Belfast sinks (long gone many years ago) and I'm sure the bricks with holes through them have been used as candle holders in just a few houses.
