The Carneddau Ponies have been roaming the Carneddau Mountain range in Snowdonia since as far back as the bronze age and there's currently around about 300 in the herd. They're not fully wild as they're managed, with some being removed each year to prevent the area from being overgrazed. I've been photographing the ponies over the last few years and have previously shown the work online as part of Isolation Nation, a lockdown project produced by We Are Dorothy. I'm also going to be showing the work in early 2022. More news on that soon.
